I’m glad to hear this I had some fresh tomato to use up and since it cooks for 45 minutes just puréed it in and left out the tomato paste. I did my favorite Sunday trick- make a big pot of soup while making another dinner and then put the soup away for the busy week so I haven’t tasted it yet. But it was the perfect wrap around recipe because of the long simmer.
