Subbed margarine for butter but otherwise followed exactly.
My only issue is this made 3 large pancakes rather than a bunch of four inch ones. Not sure if it was a matter of me being heavy handed while pouring the batter into the pan.

I make these as waffles pretty often, and the recipe works exactly as written! Just remember to use plenty of cooking spray on your waffle iron.
